From an impoverished child in Nigeria, to a gang member, to the founder of a successful foundation, Sunny Akhigbe overcame countless obstacles to not only survive, but to excel.
This 6-8 part documentary series will follow the story of Sunny, who was born out of wedlock which is forbidden in Nigeria. As a result, he was excommunicated from most of his family and forced to fend for himself.

Now, Sunny is a college graduate with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. We are honored to tell his story.
